WHERE EARTH FALLS IN LOVE WITH AIR

A crow in the air
Perfectly gliding, black wings
Earth woman cant fly

Nurture and tame the
Beings she wants to stay wild
Its all she knows to do

Could the earth woman
Learn to live in peace with air
Love him from below?

Stay behind on earth
Grow fruit in the sunshine, and
Only dream of air

Vision of flying
As free as the wind that plays
Become his bird wife

Air can love earth woman
Yet in a fleeting way
A brush of her cheek

Morning, air is gone
Wings apart over oceans
Playing in the gusts

Earth woman alone
Picks a handful of feathers
Her only bouquet

Air gives her presents
Shiny things seen from above
Drops them at her feet

Earth woman craves air
His freedom and his beauty
Strong roots hold her down

Earth can remember
At sometime before her birth
When she too flew high

Air cant help but leave
Wings apart ready to go
Earths hand grasps at him

Air is there his way
Such love, only in the light
His eyelids flicker

Just when she believes
He has flown beyond her reach
She hears his flutter

Please air, join my earth
Loose your wings for my loving
Become one of me

Holds air in her arms
The earth woman dilemma
Please don’t fly away

She feels so alone
Branches flowers surround her
Air blows thru her heart

Is air an angel?
Or a devil on wing
Or is he just air?

Earth dreams of loving
Herself without need for air
Seems a heavy life

All Earths true lovers
Are made of air, they bring her
Above, she falls hard

Those men of the earth
Don’t tempt her
They make their own roots
